Report: Turkey wants to hold Russian, German energy ministers talks

ANKARA, Oct 26 (PRIME) -- Turkey wants to organize a meeting of Russian and German energy ministers in Istanbul in December, Aydinlik newspaper reported on Wednesday citing Istanbul Economic Summit chairman of the executive board Abdullah Deger.

“In fact, we would like to bring the energy ministers of Germany and Russia together. That would be a great success for Turkey and the Istanbul Economic Summit. I even suggested it to the parties. They said it was unrealistic, but, suddenly, everything can be realized within 24 hours,” the newspaper reported quoting Deger.

The summit will be held at the Ciragan Palace on December 8–9 in Istanbul. Deger said that foreign companies will actively participate and that they have invited Russian companies.
